On the hills between Bevagna and Montefalco, within a centuries-old park, stands Villa Mongalli (371 meters above sea level), the ancient residence of the noble lineage, which was sold in 1999 to the Menghini family along with the surrounding estate.
The villa is particularly remarkable for the frescoes by the painter Mariano Piervittori, who was highly active in Umbria in the second half of the 19th century, and who is responsible for the decorations of numerous buildings in Perugia, Spoleto, Foligno, Bevagna, Città della Pieve, and Orvieto.
On part of the estate, the Menghini family planted a vineyard of about 15 hectares. The unique characteristics of the soil, clayey with substantial gravel, lightweight, warm, and permeable, along with excellent exposure, the passion of the owners, the collaboration of nationally renowned experts, and the oenologist Emiliano Falsini, have allowed them to obtain high-quality wines and achieve important recognitions from industry guides and experts.
