| Winery: The two batches are vinified separately, but processed using the same particular method: the cryomaceration process, which consists of slow, gentle contact between skin and must at very low temperatures to allow a slight transfer of color until the desired hue is achieved. The process continues with soft pressing and ends with the completion of fermentation. After aging in steel tanks for several months, the blend between these two fractions is created to enhance the organoleptic notes. |
Bosco del Merlo's Pinot Grigio Rosato comes from the selection of the best grapes from the territory included in the Delle Venezie DOC, harvested at two separate times.
It is made entirely from Pinot Grigio grapes, vinified in temperature-controlled steel tanks with a short maceration on the skins.
It is characterized by a soft pink color and aromas of dried flowers, pear and wild strawberry. The sip is dry, medium-bodied and with a fair persistence.
Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with fish dishes and risottos.
