Northia is an Umbria IGT Merlot 100%, produced from vineyards located at 550 meters above sea level with south-east exposure. A wine born from low yields and careful grape selection, designed to express the highest quality of the grape variety in the Umbrian terroir.

Deep red color with violet reflections.
On the nose, it is broad and complex, with notes of ripe forest fruits such as blueberry and blackberry, accompanied by raspberry, vanilla, and light spicy hints of cinnamon.

On the palate, it is elegant and enveloping, with a full structure, well-present but polished tannins, and a balance that leads to a long, harmonious finish with balsamic nuances.

🌿 Vineyards and Terroir
The grapes come from south-east facing vineyards on mineral-rich soils, where the Umbrian microclimate allows for slow and complete ripening.

Manual harvest at full phenolic ripeness with slight over-ripening.

Fermentation at controlled temperature with post-fermentation maceration.

Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.

Aging in tonneaux for about 12 months.

Bottle aging for a minimum of 3 months before release.
